BAM is seeking a Scrum Master to join its team. The Scrum Master is a mid-level leadership role that serves as the Agile coach for one or more cross-functional teams. Building on foundational Agile facilitation and delivery skills, this role deepens coaching capabilities, systems thinking, and organizational contribution. The Scrum Master guides teams in applying Agile principles, improving delivery flow, and fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role collaborates closely with product owners, product developers, and stakeholders to ensure backlog clarity, delivery rhythm, and alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitates Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Coach backlog refinement, release planning, and technical debt awareness.

Encourages use of visible task boards and information radiators to support transparency and team alignment.

Fosters psychological safety, team autonomy, and delivery flow.

Proactively identifies and escalates risks, removes blockers, and supports cross-team coordination

Reinforces engineering hygiene; for example, CI/CD awareness, test coverage, and peer code reviews.

Guides teams in creating INVEST-ready backlog items and maintaining a well-managed backlog.

Monitors team performance metrics and use data to drive improvements in velocity, quality, and predictability.

Provides upward and downward feedback to improve Agile standards and contribute to organizational learning.

Supports Agile scaling efforts, for example through LeSS adoption, shared backlog alignment, or multi-team retrospectives.

Capture and share team insights, lessons learned, and improvement plans to support continuous learning.Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Lead

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent

Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, LeSS, SAFe) and delivery practices

Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing team dynamics

Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills

Proficiency in Agile lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Agile certifications (CSD, CPO, etc.)

Ability to engage with technical teams and understand software delivery lifecyclesExperience with Agile scaling frameworks—for example, LeSS, SAFe, or Nexus
