Job Description

Skillforce is seeking experienced Millwrights to support a high-volume automotive casting and machining plant near Wabash, IN. This is a hands-on role for skilled troubleshooters who enjoy mechanical work and keeping production equipment running efficiently. Pay is up to $40/hr + $125/day per diem for those that qualify! Candidates will be working up to 60+ hours a week for approximately 6 weeks.

Responsibilities:

Maintain, disassemble, repair, and reassemble plant machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems

Fabricate mechanical assemblies from raw materials

Troubleshoot production casting and machining equipment

Collaborate with production teams on quality and improvement projects

Follow OSHA and plant safety standards

Participate in training on new technologies and techniques

Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance supervisor

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Millwright or Electro-Mechanical Technician in an automotive plant

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery

Ability to read mechanical schematics and perform precision assembly
