What You’ll Do
As a Civil Engineer at IFS, you'll be a key player in delivering a variety of exciting and challenging civil engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Design & Planning: Lead the design of site layouts, grading, drainage, utility systems, erosion control, and stormwater management using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Project Leadership: Manage projects from start to finish, including budget and schedule management, client communications, and project documentation.
Collaboration & Communication: Work with a multidisciplinary team to refine designs based on stakeholder feedback and ensure project success.
Site Engagement: Conduct site visits to assess real-world conditions and ensure that designs align with project goals.
Mentoring: Guide and support junior engineers, while also helping to grow the business through proposal development and client engagement.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
5–10 years of professional experience in civil site design or land development
Expertise in designing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control from concept to completion
Strong skills in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is preferred
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
Nice-to-Haves:
P.E. License (preferred but not required)
Experience working with federal clients or large-scale public infrastructure projects
