About the Role
The Bowling Professional is responsible for the management and oversight of all bowling operations. This role ensures the effective and efficient functioning of the bowling center, including staffing, programming, member services, and operational performance. The Director of Bowling reports to the Clubhouse Manager and is accountable for maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.
This is a seasonal hourly role with a unique structure:
Fall/Winter (late September - April): Focus on bowling operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming & Engagement
· Develop and implement strategies to increase bowling center usage.
· Design and manage league play, tournaments, and special events.
· Stay current on industry trends to keep offerings fresh and engaging.
Operations & Facility Management
· Oversee daily operations of the bowling center, including lanes, scoring systems, and equipment.
· Manage scheduling, lane utilization, and maintenance coordination.
· Ensure compliance with all safety standards, policies, and best practices.
Financial & Business Management
· Monitor and report on financial performance of the bowling center.
· Identify opportunities for increased revenue and cost efficiency.
Member Service & Club Culture
· Deliver outstanding customer service to members and guests.
· Serve as an ambassador of the club’s values, fostering community and engagement.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience managing a bowling center (preferred).
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· In-depth knowledge of bowling operations, equipment, league/tournament play.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
Compensation & Structure
· Salary Range: $33-$38/hour
· Seasonal role: Bowling operations in Fall/Winter
