Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - per week

Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Petersburg, Virginia.

Travel RN – Tele Neuro (Unit 5W)

Location: Petersburg

Rate: $60 / hr

️ 30-bed unit (can flex to 35)

Position Details

Shift: 3x12hr DAYS or NIGHTS

Schedule: Every other weekend + holidays

Travelers only (must live >50 miles from facility)

Floating: Yes, to other med/surg units

Patient Population

Adult patients: CVA/TIA, peritoneal dialysis, HTN, DM, and general med-surg

Unit equipment: Alaris pumps, LifePak, Hoyer lift, Kangaroo TF pumps, PCA pumps

Monitor techs read/interp strips

Support staff: 1–2 CNAs per shift, sitters available

Ratios: 1:4–5, sometimes 1:6 (not guaranteed)

Requirements

Active RN license (VA or compact)

BLS + NIHSS required

Dysrhythmia exam required (study guide available)

At least 1 year recent acute care RN experience

EPIC experience preferred

Nice to Have

ACLS

PCCN / CCRN

Critical Care Course

Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, chest tubes, temp pacing, sedation, advanced resp modalities

Other Details

Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or combo

Blocked weekends not allowed (flexible schedules preferred)
