DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS AS A MECHANIC AND THE DESIRE TO BE TRAINED BY SOME OF THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS? *Pay will be determined by your skill level, experience, and knowledge as an Automotive Technician.

As an Automotive Technician at Greenville Chevrolet, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles. You will work with a team of experienced mechanics to ensure all customer vehicles are maintained, repaired, and cared for to the highest standards. We are currently looking for applicants with skill levels that range from Entry Level Technician to a GM Master Technician. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performing diagnostic tests to identify vehicle problems

Repairing and replacing parts on vehicles

Conducting routine maintenance and inspections

Test driving vehicles to ensure proper functionality

Documenting all work performed and parts used

Communicating with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs

Keeping up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and per the dealership

Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems

Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed

Provide estimates needed for additional repairs

Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsREQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role

In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and repairs

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent manual dexterity

Ability to operate and use automotive diagnostic equipment

Good communication and customer service skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's licenseBENEFITS:

2+ years of Technician experience preferred

ASE or equivalent Certification is a Bonus

General Motors Certification is a Big Bonus

A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair

Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies

Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance

Fast, eager learner and team player

Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems

Ambitious, hardworking presence in a team environment

Excellent customer service skills

Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

Ability to collaborate effectively

Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures, and specifications

Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)
