ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Concrete Finishing Operations

Smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools to meet precise project specifications.

Apply curing compounds and sealants to ensure durable, high-quality finishes for housing structures.

Collaborate with print and construction teams to maintain consistent material quality and project timelines.

Quality Control and Safety

Inspect finished surfaces for defects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a secure work environment during all finishing tasks.

Report equipment issues or process inefficiencies to supervisors to support continuous improvement.

Maintenance and Team Support

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of finishing tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Assist in training new team members on safe and effective concrete finishing techniques.

Participate in team meetings to align on project goals and share insights for process optimization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

A proven work ethic, and a strong commitment to continuous learning—attributes that deliver results beyond traditional education (required).

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in concrete finishing or related construction work (preferred).

Familiarity with automated construction processes or batch plant operations (preferred).

Skills

Proficiency in using concrete finishing tools and equipment with a focus on safe operations.

Deep knowledge of concrete mixing, placing, and finishing techniques

Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

Strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach to achieving high-quality finishes.

Effective communication skills to receive and provide clear direction on job sites.

An owner-driven approach, taking full responsibility for tasks and treating the company as if it were your very own.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

15 Days of PTO (combined paid leave and sick leave).

Eligibility to participate in the company incentive bonus program, subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Eligibility for health and dental coverage, 401(k) plan and flexible spending accounts (if applicable), subject to the terms and conditions specified (90 days after employment).

Company-paid holidays.

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

$18.00 - $28.00/hourly rate + benefits.

The compensation package will be tailored based on several individualized factors, including geographic market, job-specific expertise, professional skills, and relevant experience. The total remuneration for this role may encompass additional elements contingent upon the position offered. Comprehensive details regarding participation in benefit programs will be provided upon receipt of an employment offer.
