Job Description

Join our client’s dynamic sales team as a Sales Engineer specializing in maritime solutions. In this role, you will contribute technical expertise to drive sales initiatives, engage with customers, and collaborate with engineers to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. The position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $90,000.

Responsibilities:

Address customer inquiries and sales requests with detailed technical information.

Work closely with customers and engineers to pinpoint equipment needs and system requirements.

Craft comprehensive statements of work (SOW) for a variety of activities.

Develop and provide technical training resources for the sales team.

Play a key role in formulating sales strategies, generating leads, and developing proposals.

Analyze sales data and compile reports to guide strategic decision-making.

Foster customer relationships through effective communication.

Support the sales team at trade shows and professional events.

Engage in business development planning and ensure smooth inter-departmental coordination.

Qualifications:

A degree in Engineering or a related field.

Demonstrated experience in technical sales and customer relationship management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adeptness with digital sales platforms.

Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

A knack for data analysis and developing sales strategies.

A readiness to travel as necessary (about 15-20% of the time).
