Commercial Construction Superintendent - Construction - Base Salary to 80k/year - Naples, FL

AllSearch Recruiting is seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage our clients' construction projects in Naples, FL. The Commercial Construction Superintendent will be responsible for supervising on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role focuses on coordinating field activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications, with an emphasis on Division 5 construction projects involving custom metal fabrication.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal crews for efficient project execution

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and compliance with building codes

Prepare and submit progress reports to project managers and upper management

Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with project managers

Schedule and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project demands

Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed

Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or costs, ensuring proper documentation and approval

Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure milestones are met

Escalate issues to management promptly and propose solutions to mitigate risks

Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders

Implement and enforce safety protocols and risk management strategies to minimize hazards

Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs and reports

Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and provide updates on project status

Delegate tasks to crew members based on their skills and strengths

Track and analyze project performance to ensure successful completion of goals

Ensure budgetary objectives are met and adjust plans based on financial analysis

Develop and share detailed construction schedules and plans with clients and team members

Continuously develop leadership and supervisory skills to enhance team performance

Utilize spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document project needs and progress

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry

Experience with Division 5 - Miscellaneous Metals preferred

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and client relationships

Proficient in managing multi-unit, commercial, and residential construction projects

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction management software

In-depth understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents

Compensation:

Base salary in the 70k - 80k/year range
