Material Handler/Warehouse Associate

1st Shift

$20.00 Per Hour

Temporary To Hire Position

The Material Handler works in the warehouse and production areas, assisting in the handling of materials to and from high-volume paper manufacturing machines, and preparation of finished paper products for shipment. There is opportunity for growth to perform other jobs.

Regular 1st shift work hours are Monday-Friday 6:00AM – 4:00PM -10-hour days-No Fridays

Specific job activities can include:

· Removing finished paperboard from the machines

· Packing of finished skids

· Applying labels to product; matching product to production orders and shipping paperwork

· Loading of paper onto tractor trailers and other delivery vehicles

· Assisting in cleanup and processing of Waste Paper

· Pushing rolls of paper into position and loading them onto the machines

· Performing other cleaning and organization of materials on the Production Floor

Job Requirements:

Dependability, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic are critical to success on this job.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must live within 15 miles of our facility and have reliable transportation to commute to/from work.

Must be able to communicate in written and spoken English. Prior experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Willingness to work second shift (with pay increase) is a plus. Drug test and background check are required.

Prior experience operating a forklift is a plus.
