Site Safety Representative

Job Description

FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a construction project in Holly Ridge, LA. This position is anticpated to start immediately and will last approximately 5 years on a Monday-Saturday dayshift schedule for 50-60 hours/week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification preferred.

Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification.

Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate.

Candidates should have 5+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards.

Strong background in constructions procedures and processes.

Experience with cranes, rigging, confined space, and forklift safety is required.Company Description
