Territory Sales Representative - Elevator Modernization - Base Salary to 150k/year - Long Beach, CA
Our client, one of the fastest growing elevator service providers in the U.S., is seeking a Territory Sales Representative specializing in elevator modernization to drive growth across Southern California. This is a high-impact, full-time sales role ideal for a motivated business development professional with strong technical insight and a proven track record in elevator or B2B capital equipment sales.
Responsibilities:
Identify, pursue, and close modernization opportunities across a multi-county Southern California territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility directors, building owners, and consultants
Conduct detailed site surveys and work closely with engineering and operations to develop customized proposals
Prepare and present modernization solutions that align with customer needs and budget
Lead contract negotiations and oversee the sales process from initial contact through signed agreement
Collaborate with field operations and project managers to ensure smooth handoffs and client satisfaction
Track activity in CRM and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in elevator industry sales, modernization preferred
Strong understanding of elevator systems, modernization scopes, and value-based selling
Proven success meeting or exceeding annual sales targets
Technical or engineering background is a plus
Willingness to travel throughout Southern California
Compensation:
Base salary in the 110k - 150k/year range
Commission potential: 80k - 120k or more, uncapped
