Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in the Glen Burnie, MD area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Install and work with PVC piping, copper pipe, grooved pipe, carbon steel, and stainless steel piping

Fit, grind, bevel, cut, lay out, and assemble various piping systems

Work on storm drains and underground utilities

Test piping systems for safety, leaks, and functionality

Diagnose and repair pipe system malfunctions

Install, modify, and repair fluid systems

Rebuild and maintain various types of pumps

Occasionally operate forklifts and other equipment

Perform other tasks as needed

Previous experience in pipefitting (industrial or commercial preferred)

Proficiency with tools and techniques related to pipe installation and repair

Must have own tools for the trade

Ability to read and interpret piping schematics and construction drawings

Reliable transportation and attendance
