Function Specific Accountabilities
An Accounting professional should have strong knowledge of accounting andproficiency in handling various accounting and financial tasks. The role will beresponsible for ensuring accurate and timely closure of accounts, taxpreparation, commission calculations, and financial reporting, while alsoproviding support in auditing and reconciliation processes.Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely closure of books of accounts each month and year-end.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare TDS, GST reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with filing returns.
• Prepare and calculate TDS and GST on time and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare commission working for agents and calculate incentives based onsales targets and achievements.
• Handle day-to-day banking operations and ensure accurate reconciliation ofbank accounts with accounting records.
• Prepare various types of MIS (Management Information System) reports fordecision-making.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement,and Statement of Cash Flows).
• Effectively communicate the analysis of these statements to the team andmanagement as needed.
• Preparing year-end books for audit purposes.
• Reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on amonthly/quarterly basis in accordance with the closing schedule.
• Follow up with the sales team for outstanding collections and ensure timelypayments.

Skills :
Accounting Knowledge: Accounting background with proven experience inthe field. Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Tally ERP or other accounting software. Taxation Knowledge: Good understanding of TDS, GST, and other relatedtaxes. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skillsacross all levels of the organization. Microsoft Excel: Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, andcomplex formulas). Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams andother branches.
