About the role

The Customer Controller is a dynamic, real-time information management role within the Operations group, reporting to the Customer Control Supervisor.

You’ll also manage critical reporting and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate information, dashboards, and reports are delivered within strict timeframes to support timely decision-making.

This role is central to keeping services moving and customers informed in a fast-paced operating environment.

About you

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including creating and managing content in Teams

Experience with Sprout Social, Whispir, and Content Management Systems is desirable.

Strong digital and technical capability

Accurate and detail-focused in data management and reporting

Effective critical thinker and problem solver

Clear and inclusive communicator, committed to improving the passenger experience

Demonstrated alignment with V/Line’s values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights

If your skills or experience don’t exactly match our listed requirements, we still encourage you to apply. We value diverse perspectives and believe in the potential for growth and development.

About the roster
