I. Job Summary
Responsible for management and operation of the gas plant facility and backup landfill gas flare. This position will have exposure to hazardous chemicals. Coordinates special projects as needed
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Schedules and conducts plant tours for the community.
Assures compliance for the plant and flare with all local, state and federal laws in effect. This will include working with the site engineer to maintain all records regarding compliance.
Responsible for accurate and timely submission of all compliance records to the site engineer for submittal to respective governing authorities.
Gathers all data associated with the daily operations of the plant and flare and submits reports as required. This includes but is not limited to Monthly Operating Reports, Startup Shutdown and Malfunction Plans, Downtime Logs and Daily Operations Reports.
Maintains safe working conditions. Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed and enforced. Supports ESH management, participates in on-going ESH awareness efforts, which include conducting and attending EHS training.
Reports, investigates, and takes corrective actions necessary to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintains equipment files and maintenance records for the plant and flare. This includes files for ALL equipment in use at the plant and flare.
Manages time to accomplish all daily, weekly and monthly tasks to support proper plant operations.
Responsible for review and adherence to established financial budgets.
Performs all plant purchasing as is necessary to support continued plant operations, including maintaining purchase logs and vendors files.
Performs daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance on all equipment as specified by Maintenance Manager, manufacturers lubrication and maintenance guidelines or established industry procedures.
Performs all housekeeping functions of the plant including surrounding grounds as well as office, control room and engine room cleanliness.
Assists with well-field operations on an “as available” basis.

High School Diploma or G.E.D (accredited)
4 years of relevant work experience
