WMS/CC Team leader

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting audits, and maintaining accurate records of stock movements.

General Responsibilities

• Conducts regular audits of inventory to verify accuracy of records identifying discrepancies or variances.

• Implements inventory control procedures and best practices to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency.

• Coordinates with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely receipt and processing of incoming inventory shipments.

• Performs cycle counts and physical inventory counts to reconcile inventory records and identify any discrepancies or issues.

• Investigates and resolves inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and collaboration with relevant departments.

• Maintains accurate records of inventory transactions, adjustments, and movements in the inventory management system.

• Generates reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and inventory performance metrics to support decision-making and planning.

• Participates in inventory-related projects and initiatives to improve inventory management processes and systems.

Experience / Qualifications

• Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role

• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
