The IT Cloud Engineer (Azure Cloud/Systems) is the responsible for delivery and support of the Cloud & Systems infrastructure. This position ensures business continuity by maintaining T. Marzetti Company’s IT network and cloud services. It collaborates with management and staff to deliver secure, effective solutions that support corporate growth. Finally, this role provides subject matter expertise in the areas of responsibility assigned.
Responsibilities
Maintain, support, & deploy cloud systems include IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
Maintain and support key server technologies, systems, and services including
Microsoft Windows Domain Services; including Active Directory, GPOs and O365
Corporate Messaging and Communication Systems
Data Management and Restoration
Virtualization Hosts (Azure Local)
Create and keep current documentation for all systems
Follow standard operations processes, security polices, and industry best practice procedures for systems & cloud support
Ensure maximum up time for supported systems
Support project delivery as requested
Provide Level 3 support for systems & cloud environments
Determine and deliver enhancements and improvements for existing cloud environments
Promotes and establishes strong, positive, and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company’s vision statement, core values and business principles.
Execute cloud & server systems maintenance and lifecycle management strategies.
Demonstrates technical mastery of cloud & systems technologies and functional understanding of network systems to provide immediate triage and support for P1 incidents
Serves as an IT ambassador, enhancing our “Brand” as a business partner, by engaging our business customers in a proactive and collaborative manner.
Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and maintain flexible working hours to adhere to established maintenance windows and minimize impact to business operations.
Limited travel required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology science, with 2-5 years’ work experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years’ enterprise-wide experience with Microsoft Azure preferred
Highly adaptable to changing priorities
Ability to proactively work independently and maintain familiarity with emerging technologies and advancements in technical knowledge.
Proficient with IT infrastructure systems, services, and cloud solutions.
Experience developing and creating implementation plans.
Experience designing and implementing cloud/managed service provider solutions.
Knowledge of and experience with ITIL/ITSM processes.
Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
