Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing terminal staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support.

Operations Management:

Coordinating activities such as loading and unloading, inventory management, and maintenance of equipment.

Logistics:

Ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods or passengers through the terminal.

Safety and Compliance:

Implementing and enforcing safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Customer Service:

Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing assistance as needed.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of operations, inventory, and other relevant data.

Emergency Response:

Responding to emergencies and coordinating with other departments as needed.

Communication:

Keeping relevant parties informed about operational status, potential issues, and changes.

Typical Duties:

Assigning Staff: Utilizing daily plans and forecasts to assign the appropriate staff and resources to different areas of the terminal.

Monitoring Operations: Overseeing the flow of traffic, cargo, or passengers through the terminal.

Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving operational issues, such as delays, equipment malfunctions, or customer complaints.

Maintenance Coordination: Scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

Training: Conducting training for staff on safety procedures, operational protocols, and other relevant topics.

Reporting: Preparing and submitting reports on terminal operations, safety incidents, and other relevant data.

Skills and Qualifications:

Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to lead and manage teams.

Operational Knowledge: Understanding of terminal operations, logistics, and relevant regulations.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve operational issues.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers professionally and resolve issues.
