About The Program
The Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics promotes the CSU Channel Islands mission by building a learning community of faculty and students pursuing excellence in business education and scholarship. Faculty follow a teacher/scholar model in accordance with AACSB standards.
About The Position
The Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics seeks a pool of qualified applicants for possible temporary part-time graduate teaching assignments in the MBA program. Assignments are filled on an as-needed basis and may include evening, online, and weekend courses. Disciplines include Accounting, Communications, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, International Business, Law and Ethics, Leadership, Management, Marketing and Strategy.
Minimum Degree Requirements
Minimum of a masters degree from a regionally accredited university in business administration, finance, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, technology, or related field to the course topic, and active professional experience in the field.

Applicants should demonstrate commitment to effectively work with and engage a diverse student population and evidence of mentoring minoritized students with a focus on Latinx, Black/African American, American Indian, and Asian/Asian American/Pacific Islander students.
Preferred Qualifications
An MBA and/or Doctoral degree in a business-related field is preferred
5+ years full-time work experience
Responsibilities
Teach one or more classes as assigned and as student demand allows. Conduct and submit assessment activities as outlined each semester.

Compensation
California State University instructional faculty for special programs; salary ranges available online. Placement into a range is based on qualifications and experience. Initial assignments are typically at the bottom third of the salary range.
