Family Practice - Without OB Physician

A health services organization in Florida is seeking a Spanish-speaking, licensed Family Medicine Physician to join their growing team in Alafaya.

About the Opportunity:

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 8am to 6pm (Mon to Thurs); Friday (8am to 12pm)

Call: 1:8 telephone only call

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions

Prescribe or administer medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury

Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients

Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary

Provide health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention

Immunize patients against preventable diseases

Maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

M.D. / D.O. Degree

Active Florida Medical License

Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine
