Staff Specialist Anaesthetist

The Role

An opportunity for an experienced Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) to join the Department of Anaesthetics. This is a full time permanent position with a major regional facility based in coastal Queensland.

The role encompasses the provision of specialist anaesthetic care and related medical services in the Division of Critical Care. Assist the Clinical Director and General Manager (Division of Critical Care) to ensure clinical services provided are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner. Assist with the education and supervision of trainees and other medical staff, medical students, allied health and nursing staff.

Our client is a major regional hospital and having undergone a significant redevelopment in recent years, it provides state-of-the-art facilities. The redevelopment delivered new beds, improved services in the rehabilitation unit, as well as a new 24-hour emergency department, maternity unit and special care nursery.
