General Medicine Staff Specialist

The Role

Permanent, Full-time Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist - General Medicine (80 hours per fortnight). Must hold FRACP, peer review is not currently available.

5 weeks annual recreational leave accumulation with 17.5% loading when taken

The Hospital

The Hospital is the major referral centre for North West Queensland. The hospital has approximately 80 beds catering for an area of 300,000 remote and rural kilometres with a population of approximately 34,000 people.

The Requirements

Hold current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medial Board of Australia.

Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

May require Travel.

May require Shift Work.

May require On Call.

Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
