Fifth Grade Elementary Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fifth Grade Teacher to join our team and help prepare students for lifelong learning and success.

Position Overview: The Fifth Grade Teacher will provide engaging and rigorous instruction aligned to Ohio Learning Standards.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to creating a classroom culture that promotes student growth, respect, and responsibility.

Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver daily instruction in all core subject areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies) * Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners * Integrate technology and hands-on learning opportunities into lessons * Maintain a positive, structured, and safe classroom environment * Collaborate with grade-level team members, support staff, and administration * Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues * Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as needed * Participate in professional development and district initiatives Qualifications: * Valid Ohio teaching license (Elementary Education, Middle Childhood, or appropriate licensure) * Bachelor's degree in Education * Strong knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards * Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Compensation & Benefits: * Competitive salary based on the Northridge Local Schools salary schedule * Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement (STRS) * Supportive professional environment with opportunities for growth Once you have complete the application, please email cover letter and resume to Nate Dennison, Elementary Principal at
