About the Role:

Nayan is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Controller to manage our day-to-day financial operations and help drive cost efficiency across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who combines operational rigor with data-driven thinking, and is excited to work closely with leadership to guide smart financial decisions.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control company-wide expenses, including travel, tools, and operations

Provide data-driven insights to guide cost optimization and budget allocation

Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and spend reports

Track cash flow, working capital, and fund usage for financial health

Analyze financial reports to surface cost-saving opportunities

Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and tax regulations; assist with filings and audits

Work with internal teams to enforce financial discipline and approval processes

Support financial planning and investment decisions aligned with business goals

Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and consultants

Contribute to financial models and data prep for fundraising or investor updates

Continuously suggest process improvements and automation in financial operations

Requirements:

2–4 years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or cost control

Strong working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Good grasp of compliance areas such as GST, TDS, and corporate taxation

Experience in financial analysis, planning, and identifying cost optimization areas

Hands-on experience with cash flow tracking and fund management

Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and finance tools like Zoho Books or QuickBooks

Comfortable working in dynamic environments with high ownership

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Exposure to fundraising, audits, or investor reporting is a plus

Experience in tech or start up environments is preferred
