Role: Quality Head - Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems and strategies to ensure the highest Quality standards in the manufacturing & assembly of automotive seating systems.

Responsibilities

Process Excellence & Quality Control: Conceptualize and lead the quality management strategy aligned with business objectives. o Align process & product quality strategies across the value chain to meet business needs. o Set direction for Total Quality Management (TQM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Six Sigma, and Sustainable Development initiatives.

Process Management & Quality Improvement: Lead quality interventions such as TQM, TPM, Six Sigma, PFMEA, IATF, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, and Control Plans.

Functional Leadership: Ensure communication and monitor compliance with company policies, and quality standards. o Develop a periodic review process to incorporate new ideas and technologies in QMS. Manage customer interactions and visits to understand customer expectations and ensure alignment with quality standards.

People Management: Lead and manage the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. o Drive T&D programs to enhance the skills and expertise of the quality team.

Customer & Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards. Drive APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific requirements for new product launches. Manage customer quality concerns, audits, and warranty/field return analysis

BE in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, or related field); Master’s preferred. 20+ years of experience in automotive seating system manufacturing, with at least 7 years in a senior quality leadership role. Deep knowledge of automotive quality standards, processes, and OEM requirements. Proven success in leading teams across multiple sites or global operations. Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or similar qualification is a plus.
