Position Overview:
This newly created position is an execution-driven role with broad responsibility across the full investment lifecycle. The Senior Investment Analyst will lead expert-level financial modeling and underwriting for both individual debt and equity investments, as well as proprietary fund vehicles. This critical role will be instrumental in managing existing investments, conducting underwriting and due diligence on new opportunities, and supporting corporate growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform investment underwriting, valuation, and complex financial modeling for direct real estate investments and fund vehicles.
Manage due diligence, legal negotiations, and closing processes with precision and efficiency.
Prepare and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee based on thorough analysis, market due diligence, and risk assessment
Participate in portfolio forecasting, reforecasting, and variance analysis to proactively identify risks, performance, and value-creation opportunities
Support the annual valuation process, including updating assumptions, coordinating third-party appraisals as needed, and reconciling valuations with internal forecasts.
Deliver accurate, high-quality reporting and analysis to internal leadership, investors, and other stakeholders.
Support fund-level planning by analyzing pipeline opportunities, pacing, and capital availability to ensure alignment with investment objectives.
Help develop internal and external presentations, pitch books, investor reports, updates, and fundraising presentations.
Lead or participate in special projects that are consistent with company strategic growth objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in real estate investment, private equity, or comparable institutional role.
Strong preference for candidates with institutional training or experience in real estate private equity, investment sales, investment banking, alternative investments, or similar transaction-focused environments.
Proficiency in Excel, Argus, and Juniper Square; advanced modeling capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
Highly organized, dependable, and attentive to detail, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
