Foundry Supervisor

This position reports to the Plant Manager and will work closely with other supervisors, quality, engineering, and maintenance to plan & facilitate continued, smooth, and safe operation of the foundry production operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that employees are working in a safe responsible manner and following process instructions

Verify that daily schedules and job tickets are present

Monitor inventory levels

Assist molders and core makers as needed

Ensure all cores are ready for molding

Verify the quality of the molds

Ensure that daily production is completed

Report pattern and quality problems to the appropriate departments

Ensure that weekly cleaning up and preparation are completed

QUALIFICATIONS

High School, GED or equivalent education

5+ year’s foundry experience required

Previous experience within a Supervisory or Lead role
