Position: Scheduling Intern

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Pay Range: $19 - $22 per hour

Superior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Spring 2026 term (February – May. When you join Superior, you join a national leader in electrical design and construction. In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond.

Under the guidance of our Scheduling team, you’ll gain exposure to our jobsites and how we keep our projects moving forward, including contracting, scheduling, estimating, biding, and contract administration. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules for electrical construction using tools such as Primavera OPC, P6 or Microsoft Project

Learning our processes on creating and updating schedules to assist our team

Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to understand project activities, dependencies, and critical paths

Help analyze project progress and identify potential scheduling risks or delays

Support the preparation of project documentation, including progress reports, updates, and milestone tracking

Participate in meetings and learn best practices in construction scheduling and timeline optimization

Gaind hands-on experience with resource planning and real-world project coordination

You’re able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when sensitive information

Education

Required: You must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
