Job Description

The Oncology Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and providing patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice. You will plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs, using evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and assist with patient care.

Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments.

Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.

Document care based on standards of practice and patient acuity.

Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards.

Provide holistic, patient-centric care aligned with the nursing practice model.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Two (2) years of experience in acute adult oncology, specializing in leukemia and lymphoma, in an inpatient setting.

ASN required; BSN preferred.

BLS - AHA certification required.

NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.

Telemetry and Chemo Certification with ONS preferred.
