Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) with Texas licensure and experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

Position is in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting

Caseload consists of patients requiring speech, language, and swallowing interventions

Work involves both rehabilitation and ongoing care for adult and geriatric populations

Provide evaluation and treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric patients

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Up to 7 days of requested time off are permitted

Compact licensure is accepted for eligible candidates

Requirements

Valid Texas state SLP license required if applicable

Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required

At least 1 year of SLP experience required

Experience in LTC, SNF, or rehabilitation settings is required

New grads considered if they have Level II clinical experience

3 years of active CCS preferred

One professional reference required for consideration

All licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration
