Commercial Manager

We’re looking for a Commercial Manager for our public sector client based in London, Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield or Nottingham on an initial 6-month contract paying up to £515 per day Inside IR35.

This role allows hybrid working with an expectation to attend the office 2 days per week.

The successful Commercial Manager will possess proven skills working with the following -

• Post-contract award administration of construction and professional service contracts

• Developing and managing variations/change control and other contract mechanisms

• Supporting senior commercial managers and stakeholders in developing commercial strategy

• Analysis, issue resolution and risk mitigation across large construction portfolios

• Supplier negotiations and conflict/issue resolution

• Ensuring compliance with governance, legislation and procurement policies

• NEC3, NEC4 and PPC2000 contract experience

This role is part of a major government infrastructure programme delivering large-scale construction projects across a complex estate, with contract values ranging from £1m to £300m. The programme includes new builds, major refurbishments and estate-wide expansions, recognised as a Major Project by the Infrastructure and Projects Authority.
