The Role:

Orangetheory Fitness is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Person to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for members and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is proactive in identifying cleaning needs, and supports the studio in delivering a high-quality fitness experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize all areas of the studio, including:

Workout areas and fitness equipment

Locker rooms, showers, and restrooms

Lobby, offices, and break areas

Refill supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, disinfectant wipes)

Ensure trash is removed and bins are sanitized daily

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming

Disinfect high-touch surfaces frequently throughout shifts

Monitor cleaning inventory and inform the manager when supplies need to be reordered

Follow all health and safety guidelines and cleaning protocols (especially CDC guidelines for fitness centers)

Support deep cleaning tasks during non-peak hours or as scheduled

Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptlyRequirements:

Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards

Physical stamina and mobility (ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, kneel, and be on your feet for extended periods)

Flexible schedule; must be available for early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts as needed

Work Environment:

This role works primarily in a fitness studio setting where cleanliness and safety are critical. The Cleaning Person interacts with staff and occasionally members, so a positive and respectful demeanor is important.
