Job Description
Our firm is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support complex and high-impact projects at a commercial nuclear facility. This is a pivotal role focused on delivering safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of plant initiatives, with an emphasis on regulatory compliance, project controls, and stakeholder communication.Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to plant systems, structures, and components.
Interface with engineering, operations, construction, regulatory, and safety teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Develop project scope, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans.
Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Track and report project progress, costs, and issues to leadership and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate the preparation of technical documents, regulatory submissions, and implementation strategies.
Conduct lessons learned reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
Ensure projects are executed in compliance with nuclear industry regulations and site-specific procedures.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, ideally in a nuclear or highly regulated environment.
PMP certification or equivalent experience with formal project management frameworks.
Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and executing complex technical projects.
Strong understanding of nuclear safety principles, outage/project controls, and NRC requirements.
Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera (P6), and Microsoft Office Suite.
