Requirements/Preferred Experience

Must be board-eligible/board-certified physician in Ophthalmology

Completion of a Medical Retina Fellowship is required to join our Ophthalmology division

Comfortable administering Intravitreal injections

Position Details

Salary Range Approx: $300,000-$560,000+ per year. Compensation is subject to the individual department/division compensation plans. More information is discussed during the recruitment process.

4-day work week schedule: 50% East County/50% South Bay

Average patient volume: 20-25 patients/day

New consults/Follow-Up/Post-Ops

Office-based surgery/minor procedures

Practice 50% General Ophthalmology and 50% Medical Retina (no cataract surgery)

General call (with sub-specialty back up in all areas) is taken 1 week at a time, approximately 4-5 weeks/year.

If fellow, will be required to become board certified within first two years of employment

Ophthalmology services are offered at 7 site locations

SRSMG is a large, multi-specialty group that offers patients convenient, coordinated & integrated care

Group provides patients a full range of services across 29 different specialties in medicine

All clinics have a lead RN, triage RN, LVNs and 1:1 Provider/MA ratio plus operations team

Integrated EMR system allows for seamless communication among group PCP's & specialists
