About the Facility:

Located in the heart of Algona, Iowa, this full-service healthcare facility is part of a regional health system that provides comprehensive services across 14 counties. The practice includes a 25-bed critical access hospital equipped with state-of-the-art technology, offering full spectrum family medicine, including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist services. Residents enjoy a close-knit community environment where healthcare providers are highly respected. Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive family medicine care including surgical obstetrics.

Perform C-sections and manage obstetric patients.

Join a collaborative team of 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.

Participate in a call rotation for OB/Hospitalist 1:9, with a C-section call of 1:3.

Utilize on-site specialists including Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, and Orthopedics.

Engage with a supportive community where your skills will be valued and appreciated. Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.

Completed OB Fellowship (to be finalized before starting).

Ability and interest in performing C-sections.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. License and Certification Requirements:

Must have or be willing to obtain an Iowa license or IMLC.

Board Eligible status (within 3 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Family Medicine is required.

Competency in Controlled Substance (CSR/CDS) and DEA certification.
