Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Neonatologist to join our expanding practice at a prestigious hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. This is a Level 2 opportunity situated in the magnificent Shenandoah Valley, surrounded by stunning natural landscapes and a vibrant community. We are committed to providing high-quality, family-centered healthcare for newborns and look forward to welcoming a skilled physician to our team. Job Responsibilities:

Lead a 6-bed Level II special care nursery with 24-hour shifts and block scheduling.

Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to ensure comprehensive coverage of the newborn nursery.

Participate in family-centered care delivery.

Engage in quality improvement and clinical research projects.

Network and exchange expertise with over 400 NICUs and thousands of Pediatrix providers.

Open to commuters; however, locum and Visa candidates are not accepted. Qualifications:

Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - REQUIRED

Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED

DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED (no exemptions) License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.

Valid Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain.

DEA certification before starting work.
