Minimum Shifts: 5 shifts/month required, 8-10 shifts/month preferred

Coverage across three emergency departments, including one freestanding ED

Schedule: 24-hour physician coverage (8a-8p, 8p-8a) with mid-level support 12p-12a

Practice Setting: Emergency Department (freestanding and hospital-based)

Average Daily Census (freestanding ED): 25-35 patients

Documentation: Each provider manages their own documentation

Admissions: Handled by hospitalist team at main site

Trauma: Not a designated trauma center; traumas are transferred

Providers responsible for ED codes

No call

Board Certified (ABMS or AOA in IM/FM)

Active OH license or IMLC

ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP

2+ years recent emergency medicine experience

Must be available for nights and weekendsSkill Requirements

Emergency medicine care in both hospital and freestanding ED settings
