The radiation oncology department features modern equipment and technology, including a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, allowing for advanced treatment capabilities.

Opportunity:

Outpatient Radiation Oncology Physicist

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule from 8am-5pm with flexible on-site/remote arrangement

• Must be on-site every Tuesday, with potential additional day depending on QA needs

• Remote work available for remaining days

• Solo physicist position for Lapeer operation with peripheral support from Flint

• Manage approximately 15 patients per day

• Work with Aria documentation system/EMR

• Perform physics reviews of treatment plans created by dosimetry team

• Work with Eclipse treatment planning system

• Analyze Portal Dosimetry QA plans run by therapists

• Must be familiar with IMRT, SBRT, and SRS techniques

• Perform required machine and patient QA

• Provider must be local - only mileage is reimbursed

• Must use DocTime for clock in/out (reverse billing system)

• ABR or CCPM board certification required

• Position to start ASAP

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
