Five years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry. Must have experience with: Industry software, including OnCenter, Sage Timberline, and Bluebeam Revu/Studio; Microsoft Office suite, including collecting and analyzing data in Excel and creating documents and preparing correspondence in Outlook and Word; preliminary and detailed estimating; analyzing datasets, including bid proposals and market pricing, to construct accurate cost models; reviewing historical statistics and market trends to identify risks, calculate contingencies, and produce reliable cost forecasts; selecting subcontractors and suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations, and determining market trends.ating effort relevant to a particular project or proposals as assigned, including quantity take-offs, preparation of estimates, and value engineering. Review proposal specifications, drawings. Attend pre-proposal meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates. Participate in preparation of studies including materials, methods, recommendations, and relative cost estimates. Participate in bid/estimate strategy and presentation meetings. Assist Project Team in evaluating submitted proposals during project buyout and contracting phase. Communicate Estimate to client, design team, or Company leadership. Prepare for, and participate in, project handoff from Estimating to Operations. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Participate in Design Development and Construction Document QA/QC reviews. Oversee database updates and assist with compiling and recording actual costs upon project completion. Maintain and update cost databases for multiple states.

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in construction management or closely related field
