Job Overview:
As the Eligibility & Special Projects Manager in the Office of Operations, Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a unit responsible for processing Medicaid eligibility renewals, determinations, and data corrections in the Ohio Benefits system
Managing unit projects for completion and accuracy and report to bureau leadership
Reviewing and evaluating state and federal policies and regulations on Medicaid eligibility and provide training and technical assistance to team
Reviewing and preparing reports to ensure compliance with Medicaid eligibility policies and procedures
Coordinating development and implementation of procedures for special eligibility determination completion
12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in departmental operations & programs, policies & procedures for assigned agency; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in federal & state laws regarding operation of assigned agency; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in applications of mathematical, analytical &/or statistical methods used in formulating & solving problems or in decision making; 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public speaking, speech or communication; 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/techniques.
