Position Summary

YankeeKicks is seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all financial operations and guide the company through its next phase of growth. This is a key executive role responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance across all business units. The CFO will be a critical partner to the CEO and executive team, helping to shape and execute strategic initiatives, improve profitability, and support capital raising activities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all financial functions including accounting, treasury, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and risk management.

Develop and manage annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and performance metrics.

Provide timely and accurate financial reports to the CEO, investors, and board of directors.

Implement and optimize financial systems and processes for scalability.

Monitor cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement to ensure financial health and alignment with growth goals.

Support strategic decision-making related to new store openings, international expansion, consignment model evolution, and technology investments.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards.

Lead fundraising efforts, including debt/equity structuring, investor relations, and due diligence.

Partner with department heads to align financial targets with operational plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 3–5 years at the CFO or VP Finance level.

Experience in retail, e-commerce, fashion, or consumer goods is highly desirable.

Proven success in scaling high-growth businesses and managing complex financial operations.

Advanced financial modeling and strategic planning skills.

Familiarity with fundraising, investor relations, and M&A activities.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Tech-savvy and comfortable implementing financial software/tools to improve efficiency.

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Aventura, FL.
