Some of the capabilities the Sr. Financial Analyst – FP&A will possess:
The ability to connect operational drivers to financial outcomes
The acumen to evaluate financial and operating metrics to provide clear, precise and data-driven insights to inform decisions
The desire to build cross-functional relationships that result in the ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes for the business
Some of the functions the Financial Analyst will perform:
Support the annual financial (budget) and strategic plan process
Develop, review and provide ad hoc analyses to support cross-functional teams
Partner with cross-functional operating partners to model ROI on investments
Provide daily and weekly reporting on KPI’s to understand current business trends
Translate complex financial data into clear, compelling visual presentations for senior leadership
Meet deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment
Utilize large-scale accounting, financial, and reporting systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
4-6 years of Finance experience; Retail industry experience a plus
Strong PC skill proficiency, including Excel (e.g. pivot tables), Access, and PowerPoint
Attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels
Highly self-motivated
Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems
Adaptability; flexible to changing market forces and shifting priorities
Desire to continuously improve and remain curious
