Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist Permanent Job Upstate New YorkPosition Overview:

Join a well-supported inpatient psychiatry team in scenic Upstate New York.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity treating adult patients in an acute care setting.

Setting: Inpatient, acute psychiatry unit

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Call: One weekend and one weekday per month

Patient Population: Adults (18+) with a range of diagnoses including depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia

Unit Size: 14 beds

Average Length of Stay: 7 days

Consults: Includes coverage for emergency room psychiatric consults

Team Structure: Work alongside another Psychiatrist and a Physician Assistant

EMR System: Meditech

Board Status: Open to both Board Certified and Board Eligible psychiatrists

Visa Candidates: H1B visa holders welcome
