About The Program
The Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics seeks to cultivate a learning environment that fosters excellence in business and economics education and prepares students to engage with the evolving dynamics of organizations. Faculty follow a teacher/scholar model in accordance with AACSB standards.
About The Position
The Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics seeks a pool of qualified applicants for possible temporary part-time undergraduate teaching assignments in management. Assignments are filled on an as-needed basis and may include daytime, evening, and online courses. Responsibilities may include administering assessments and submitting assessment data. Disciplines include business administration, accounting, communications, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics, finance, human resources, information systems and technology, international business, law, leadership, management, marketing, operations, statistics, and strategy.
Minimum Degree Requirements
Minimum of a Masters degree from a regionally accredited university in a business-related area or a related field to the course topic, plus active professional industry experience.
Required Qualifications
The minimum degree requirements stated above;
Demonstrated preparation for teaching in a university-level business-related field;
Commitment to working with and mentoring a diverse student population, with emphasis on supporting minoritized students including Latinx, Black/African American, American Indian, and Asian/Asian American/Pacific Islander students.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in a related business discipline;
5+ years of full-time work experience;
Work or consulting experience in private or public sector related to Business & Economics;
Record of effective teaching with varied methodologies.
Responsibilities
Teach one or more classes as assigned and as student demand allows. Conduct and submit assessment activities as outlined each semester.

Compensation
Compensation details are at ranges noted by CSU; ranges may include Range 2, Range 3, Range 4, Range 5. Placement is based on qualifications and experience. Initial assignments are typically at the bottom third of the salary range.
