Emergency Medicine Physician

TeamHealth is hiring a board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine (EM) physician to join the opening team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art freestanding emergency department (FSED) in St. Augustine, Florida, affiliated with HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to help launch and shape emergency care delivery in one of Florida's most historic and desirable coastal cities.

Physicians are cross-credentialed with HCA Florida Memorial Hospital and the other affiliated FSEDs and have the flexibility to choose between working shifts at the main campus or exclusively at the FSED(s) only - the choice is yours!

About the Facility

The new St. Augustine Freestanding Emergency Department is a 10-bed, modern ED offering 24/7 care with on-site CT, ultrasound, X-ray, and full laboratory services. As part of HCA Florida Memorial Hospital's expanding network, the facility ensures streamlined transfers and specialist coordination when higher-level care is needed. The facility is designed for efficient patient flow, rapid diagnostics, and high-quality emergency care delivery for a growing population.
