Role Description
The CNC Operator/Sheet Metal Fabricator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brakes and lasers, as well as running manual sheet metal machines. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, select and align tools, adjust machine controls, and ensure accuracy within print tolerances. The operator will assist with troubleshooting, changeovers, and quality expectations, while also supporting team members to achieve production goals.
Qualifications
Experience operating Trumpf, Bystronic, and Amada CNC machines
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Knowledge of selecting, aligning, and securing live tooling, laser cutting and bending tools, attachments, and materials
Skilled in setting controls to optimize machining efficiency
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Proficiency in multiple fabrication processes within the department
Ability to utilize equipment and measurement tools to maintain accuracy and minimize scrap
