Superintendent - Multifamily/Affordable Housing
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction and management of multifamily and affordable housing projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations and safety standards. The project will consist of a multi-story, elevator-services apartment building with concrete podium parking structure.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on site
Manage subcontractors and construction staff to ensure quality and efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management
Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction, preferably in multifamily and affordable housing
Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with podium construction is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred
