Adapt Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Care (DOC) to join a long-term care facility in Gagetown, NB. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of resident-centered care, staff development, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

Lead and oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Provide strong leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a supportive and positive workplace culture.

Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures that enhance resident outcomes and quality of care.

Collaborate with physicians, allied health teams, residents, and families to coordinate care and resolve concerns.

Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and performance evaluations to ensure effective coverage and continuous improvement.

Drive initiatives that support staff training, retention, and professional growth.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor of Nursing (required)

Active RN license and minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2–3 years in a management/leadership role.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Experience in staff scheduling and policy development.
