Description:

Endpoint Engineer

Remote - proximity to London would be useful

Hours: 11am-7pm (some flex) Global Team

Salary: £60,000-70,000 basic

Our client is expanding their global IT footprint and looking for an Endpoint Engineer to join their team. You'll play a key role in managing and evolving their endpoint environment across ~3,000 devices, supporting a diverse international workforce.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong experience in endpoint management who wants to be part of a team moving steadily towards the cloud, modernising with Intune, Autopilot, and VDI technologies.

What you'll be doing

Packaging, deploying, and supporting applications across a secure global environment

Designing and maintaining standard endpoint images for laptops and VDI

Automating deployments and updates using tools like Intune, MECM/SCCM, and PowerShell

Supporting the firm's shift towards modern cloud management (Autopilot, Intune MDM, conditional access)

Troubleshooting endpoint, application, and security issues as a senior escalation point

Contributing to endpoint security and compliance using Microsoft Defender and related tools

Partnering with colleagues worldwide to improve endpoint performance and user experience

What we're looking for

We don't expect you to tick every box but you should bring strong experience in some of the following, with the appetite to grow in the rest:

Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune (enrollment, compliance, packaging, Autopilot)

SCCM / MECM for application deployment and patch management

VDI platforms (Citrix or Azure Virtual Desktop ideal, but others welcome)

Windows 10/11 endpoint administration and troubleshooting

Application packaging (e.g., MSIX, PSAppDeployToolkit, Winget)

Scripting and automation (PowerShell a must; Bash/Ansible a plus)

Endpoint security tools (Defender, BitLocker, or equivalent EDR)

Why join?

Work closely with a highly experienced manager (10+ years in the business) who values collaboration and mentoring

Help shape the firm's endpoint strategy as they modernise with cloud technologies

Be part of a global IT team with exposure across multiple regions

A collaborative, forward-looking culture that invests in technology and people
